FrontPage Extensions

If you use FrontPage to create your web site, you don't have to wait for your web host admin people to install the necessary extensions on the server for you, like you do with other web hosting companies. Installing and uninstalling FrontPage extensions is easy with your 1-2-Wonder Hosting cPanel Control Panel after your domain has resolved to the hosting account. Just go to the hosting Control Panel assigned to you with your hosting package, and click a button.

Warning: Installing or uninstalling Frontpage Extensions will result in the loss of all ".htaccess" files in your web area. Therefore FrontPage does not work well with addon domains and subdomains.

Also, Microsoft is fussy about their products, especially FrontPage. If you use FrontPage to create and upload your site, then use any FTP program other than FrontPage to upload/publish any files to your web site, this will result in corrupted FrontPage extensions and files, and your web site will not be viewable online. To make everything work smoothly again, go to cPanel and reinstall FrontPage extensions, then republish your site using your FrontPage program.
